Dr. A.J. Alper grew up in a small town in Connecticut, and attended the University of Connecticut for his undergraduate degree in Animal Science. He then went to Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and graduated in 2021. He decided to move to Washington after school because he loves the area, and he is searching for adventure as he enters the next stage of his life. He is excited to join the team at Harbor Animal Hospital, and he has a special interest in both cardiology and exotic animal medicine.

In his spare time he likes to ride his bike and spend time with his friends, and he is excited to experience all of the sights and activities that Washington has to offer.
